Overview

Title:  Splice, Fiber Optic Cable, General Specification for  (Metric) Scope:  This specification covers environmental- and non-environmental-resistant (chemical, mechanical, and fusion) splices appropriate for military use with optical cables and fibers. Fiber and cable splices specified herein cover a family of general-purpose interconnection hardware providing a variety of compatible optical arrangements.
