Overview

Title:  General Standard for Parts, Materials, and Processes Scope:  Parts, materials, and processes (PM&P) management is a systems engineering discipline for selecting and assuring performance of parts and assemblies of parts, while accounting for the materials and processes used to manufacture them, throughout all phases of a system’s (or equipment’s) life cycle from initial design through disposal. Note that all parts, materials, and processes used in the design, development, fabrication, procurement, and sustainment of DoD systems and equipment are included.
