Overview

Title:  Flying Qualities of Piloted Aircraft Scope:  This standard contains the requirements for the handling qualities, in flight and on the ground, of US military piloted air vehicles. It is intended to assure flying qualities that provide adequate mission performance and flight safety regardless of design or flight control system mechanization. The structure of the standard allows its use to guide these aspects in design tradeoffs, analyses, and tests.
