Scope:  This specification covers the performance, test, manufacture and acceptance requirements for the engine air cleaner, referred to herein as the air cleaner, and the replaceable air filter element, referred to herein as the filter element. Unless indicated otherwise, references to the air cleaner can be understood to include the filter element.
