Title:
A Guide to the Selection of Rubber O-Rings
Scope:
This handbook lists the currently available types of O-rings for which military or nationally recognized technical society specifications exist, and indicates the environments to which each type of O-ring is resistant. Plastic or metal O-rings fabricated from rubber in combination with other materials, and ring shaped packings and gaskets with other than round cross sections are not included. Information relative to the effect of a particular fluid on various elastomers is not included in this handbook (see 3).
