Scope:  This specification covers chisel, pinch, pry, wrecking, digging, tamping, digging and tamping bars, and crowbars normally used by mechanics and laborers for opening large boxes and crates; as a lever for lifting heavy objects; for cold cutting; for loosening cylinder heads, gears, and bolts; for aligning metals; for earth digging and tamping; and other similar purposes, as applicable.
