Title:  TAPE, SEALING, STERILIZATION INDICATOR (S/S BY A-A-54589)
Scope:  This specification covers one type of creped paper-backed tape, suitable for use in sealing or holding surgical pack wrappers, or for application to stainless steel, enamel, porecelain, or glass, to indicate that these items have been subjected to prolonged exposure to high temperature encountered in steam sterilization in hospital autoclaves.
