Overview

Title:  Creosote - Coal Tar Solution (S/S by ASTM-D391) Scope:  This specification covers one type and five classes of creosote-coal tar solution derived from tar produced by the carbonization of bituminous coal. It is intended for preservative treatment of piles, posts, lumber, structural timber, and cross, bridge, and switch ties (see 6.1).
