Overview
Title:  Dog, Lathe
Scope:  This commercial item description (CID) covers the requirements for standard and parallel clamp type lathe dogs. The lathe dogs are intended for use in a production environment, and suitable for driving cylindrical work pieces held between machine centers. Parallel clamp type lathe dogs shall be designed to hold hexagonal, square, or irregular shaped work pieces.
