Overview

Title:  Designing for Internal Aerial Delivery in Fixed Wing Aircraft Scope:  This standard provides design and performance requirements to assure the airworthiness of USAF fixed wing aircraft during safe and effective cargo transportation missions. It presents design requirements and operating limits from the basic aircraft loading manuals and technical publications and is supplemented by additional useful air transport data. The process for approval or certification of cargo for air transport in USAF fixed wing aircraft is described in 6.4. This section presents the format for submitting a request for certification and provides examples of the type of data to submit.
