Overview

Title:  Locking Devices Scope:  This standard contains technical requirements applicable to the design of mechanical locking devices for screw threaded fasteners, non-threaded fasteners and other similar applications, where special precautions necessitate the use of such locking devices. Since means of ensuring proper locking device installation are an important aspect of locking device design, certain locking device installation design requirements are also included in this standard.
