Overview

Scope:  This specification describes the technical, performance and guarantee requirements for magnetic recording and reproducing heads (transducers) to be utilized for recording and reproducing information on magnetic tape in all instrumentation applications requiring wavelength response down to 1.524 micrometers (60 micro-inches), IRIG WB II.
