Overview
Title:  Igniter, Jet Assisted Take Off (JATO) Propulsion System General Development Specification for
Scope:  This specification establishes the minimum requirements for the design, verification, and qualification of JATO rocket motor ignition systems, hereinafter referred to as "igniters". The igniters are components of solid propellant rocket motors for JATO applications (see 6.1). Implicit within this specification are requirements for the shipping container design.
