Overview

Title:  Detecting-Ranging Set, Sonar AN/AQS-13B (No S/S Document) Scope:  The equipment covered by this specification shall provide a lightweight, dipped, underwater, detecting-ranging system capable of rapid 360 degree search. It shall consist of electronic units which operate with certain equipment of the AN/AQS-13A Sonar Set. These units shall provide for the transmission, reception, and display of sonar signals. The Indicator portion of this system shall be adaptable for the display of sonobuoy signals.
