Detecting Group, Submarine Anomaly (SAD) AN/ASA-64A
Scope:
The equipment covered by this specification shall be for the automatic recognition and marking of submarine signals detected by Magnetic Anomaly Detection (MAD) equipment. The equipment shall operate in all types of aircraft designated for anti-submarine warfare and equipped with MAD equipment.
