Army Airworthiness Qualification Engine Control System and Accessory Components
Scope:
This standard specifies requirements for the qualification of engine control system components and engine accessories. It contains both an overview of the entire qualification process as well as detailed requirements for specific qualification testing. These requirements apply when preparing airworthiness qualification plans (AQP) for the specified components. The testing protocols and procedures defined in these AQPs are to be followed by engine manufacturers (and control system and accessory component suppliers) in order for components to receive a preliminary flight rating (PFR), and/or achieve a qualification test (QT) rating for production release.
