Overview
Title:  GENERAL PROCEDURE FOR MODELING AND SIMULATION VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION INFORMATION EXCHANGE
Scope:  This is a high-level document intended to provide a standard to support the exchange of V&V information. The procedures defined in this document do not regulate the detailed implementation of V&V activities. Their detailed planning and implementation is up to the persons involved who may refer to lower level procedures to support the decomposition of claims and gathering of evidence. Neither does the document address procedures to develop and use high quality models or to correct errors and deficiencies. In addition, the procedures described in this ITOP are based on a structure of claims, arguments (i.e., reasoning) and evidence which provide information for making an in-formed accreditation decision; and therefore, promote reuse by enabling other nations to make a well-informed decision regarding the acceptability of the model, data, and simulation results for their purpose.
