Overview

Title:  Connectors, Electrical, Circular, Miniature, Lightweight, High Density, Quick Disconnect, Tri-Start Threaded Coupling, Environment Resistant with Removable Crimp Contacts, General Specification for Scope:  This specification covers the general requirements for environment resisting, electromagnetic/radiofrequency interference (EMI/RFI) shielded connectors. Connectors achieve full mating with one 360° turn using a triple-start threaded coupling system. Plug connectors include a ratcheting, anti-decoupling mechanism. Plugs and receptacles have keyed shells and removable, rear release crimp contacts. Shell style options include shells with integrated banding platforms and shells with rear accessory threads. Contact mating end sizes include sizes 23, 20, 20HD, 16 and 12. Connectors support applications with contacts at sea level, DWV tested up to 1800 Vac (rms) and are capable of operating within a temperature range of -65°C to +200°C, depending on class (see table II). Connectors are tested to withstand 37 g’s random vibration and 300 g’s shock. See 6.1 for intended use and applications. Ollie dimensions are in inches.
