Overview

Title:  Fuze Setter: Programming Unit (PU), 40 Millimeter, High Velocity, High Explosive Dual Purpose Air Burst (HEDP-AB), XM101 Scope:  This specification establishes the requirements and identifies the verification process for the FUZE SETTER: Programming Unit (PU), 40 mm, High Velocity High Explosive Dual Purpose Air Burst (HEDP-AB), XM101. The PU when referenced in this document includes the physical programming unit along with all receptacles/connectors, cables and hardware required to mount and operate the programming unit with the Mk 19 Mod 3 Grenade Machine Gun (GMG). XM1176 cartridges (MIL-PRF-32623) are used with the PU to achieve airburst function.
