Scope:
This specification prescribes the performance requirements and verification procedures for the Cartridge, 40 Millimeter: High Explosive Air Burst (HEAB), Low Velocity (LV), XM1166 hereafter referred to simply as the XM1166. The XM100 Fuze Setter Programming Unit (PU) defined by MIL-PRF-32605 is used with the XM1166 cartridges to achieve airburst function.
