Product Baseline Index (PBLI)

Scope:
|
The Product Baseline Index (PBLI) shows the current listing of documentation which comprises the authorized configuration identification of the Configuration Item (CI) (i.e., end-item product, equipment, or a system) being procured. The principal use is to provide the contracting activity a basis for review and evaluation of the detailed design for production, fielding and deployment, and operations and support of the equipment or system. The PBLI may also be used to identify the initial product baseline during engineering and manufacturing development.
