Overview
Title:  Machine Gun, 7.62Millimeter: M240D
Scope:  This detail specification prescribes the unique requirements and identifies the verification procedures for the left hand fed, helicopter mounted 7.62MM: M240D Spade Grip Machine Gun, hereafter to be referred to simply as M240D or machine gun. In addition, there are requirements for the M240D contained in the MIL-DTL-63314 specification that are common for all variants of the M240 Machine Gun.
