Overview
Title:  Switchgear, Power, Hard-Mounted, Medium Voltage, Naval Shipboard
Scope:  This specification covers electrical power dead-front, deck-mounted, medium voltage (see 6.3.5) switchgear for naval shipboard use. The switchgear is hard-mounted and requires the use of applicable equipment as detailed below. These requirements cover switchgear assemblies containing, but not limited to, such devices as medium voltage vacuum circuit breakers (VCBs), other interrupting devices, switches, control, instrumentation and metering, and protective and regulating equipment.
