Overview
Title:  Insulation Test Set (No S/S Document)
Scope:  This Commercial Item Description (CID), describes a describes an insulation test set, a portable, high-voltage leakage test set for electrical insulators, measures current leakage across insulation, not capacity current, indicates AC Volts and AC micro-amperes, provides complete analysis data of the measured insulation such as resistance, power factor and electrical breakdown strength. This CID is meant as a minimum requirement for an insulation test set in which only those manufacturers that meet or surpass the following requirements are qualified per this CID.
