Overview
Title:  Performance Requirements and Ballistic Testing of Body Armor and Protective Eyewear
Scope:  This standard establishes ballistic, environmental, and durability performance requirements, test protocols, and test procedures for individual body armor materials and systems against specific threat levels and environmental and handling conditions. It does not address specific user/design requirements for load carrying interfaces or human factors requirements for wearability, fit, or size.
