Scope:

The guard shall be suitable for attaching to a weatherproof type, medium size, Edison base stringer lamp holder having a shade holder groove with grounding surface. The guard shall accommodate a size A.23 bulb. This item is used for protection of the lamp when temporary lights are strung in the field around new construction, in mines, industrial settings, and other places where temporary site lighting is required.
