Overview
Title:  Primer, Cathodic Electrodeposition, Chemical Agent Resistant
Scope:  This specification covers waterborne, cathodic epoxy electrodeposition primer formulated free of lead, hexavalent chromium and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). The primer meets solvent emission maximums of 144 grams/liter (g/l) (1.2 pounds/gallon (lbs/gal)) volatile organic compound (VOC) content and is compatible with Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) topcoats. This primer is intended for use on properly cleaned and pretreated ferrous and nonferrous metal surfaces.
