Overview

Title:  Armor Plate, Steel, Wrought, Very High- Hardness Scope:  This specification covers quenched and tempered very high hardness wrought steel armor (VHA) plate for lightweight armor applications for ordered thicknesses from 0.098 inches (2.5 mm) up to an ordered thickness of 0.630 inches (16 mm), inclusive (see 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3).
