Body Armor, Coat, for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) System (No S/S Document)
Scope:
This specification covers body armor coats for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) system. The coat includes an insert of aramid ballistic filler enclosed in an oxford aramid cloth shell. This is a special purpose Life Support Clothing and Equipment (LSC&E) item. All Government administration and surveillance procedures applicable to LSC&E items shall be invoked in accordance with the contract or purchase order (see 6.2).
