Test Set, Transponder Set
Scope:
This Commercial Item Description (CID) describes a portable flight- line tactical air navigation (TACAN) test set (referred to herein as the test set). This CID is meant as a minimum requirement for the test set in which only those manufacturers that meet or surpass the following requirements are supplied per this CID. This test set shall include all necessary accessories needed to test and fault detect the Air Force aircraft TACAN systems referenced herein.
