ESCAPE PATH CLEARANCE - METHODS AND PROBLEMS

Scope:
|
During the initial phase of emergency escape from an aircraft equipped with an open ejection seat, a path must be cleared to permit safe seat and occupant passage. The obstructions that must be cleared iclude consoles, instrument panels, windshields, glare shields, and canopies which singly, or in coordination, may constitute hazards.
