Scope:  This commercial item description (CID) covers chop-stroke, abrasive disk cutoff machines intended for use in cutting materials such as hardened or annealed ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, plastics, ceramics, and refractory materials in the form of solid bars, tubing, structural sections, and extrusions. The machine is not intended to cut wood or wood products. A circular saw blade may be specified for use in cutting nonferrous materials other than wood or wood products.
