Overview

Title:  Test Set Group, Radio Scope:  This Commercial Item Description (CID) outlines the minimum technical and performance requirements for a Radio Test Set Group used to verify, test, and repair Life Support survival radios such as the AN/PRC-112, AN/PRC-90-2, AN/URT-33, and related communications and electronic equipment. The test set shall be an integrated, self-contained, portable unit capable of functioning as a spectrum analyzer, receiver, transmitter, oscilloscope, digital multimeter, and signal generator to allow trouble shooting and operation verification of communications and electronic equipment. The functional testing of radios and beacon shall be automated to include full functional testing and user selectable single function tests for each radio or beacon to verify operation and performance within specified limits.
