Overview

Title:  Loading Environment and Related Requirements for Platform Rigged Airdrop Materiel Scope:  This handbook defines the loading environments for which items of military material experience when airdropped as platform loads, specifies essential design considerations, and establishes a method to obtain a preliminary determination of the capability of items of military material to withstand ground impact forces resulting from airdrop. This handbook is for guidance only. This handbook cannot be cited as a requirement. If it is, the contractor does not have to comply.
