Dehydrator, Condenser-Filter Low Pressure Air, for Special Applications (No S/S Document)
Scope:
This specification contains requirements for an automatic condenser-filter type dehydrator for use in low pressure air systems. The condenser-filter dehydrator shall remove particulate matter, aerosols (see 6.5) and water vapor from influent low pressure air and furnish clean, dry air as specified herein for use in propulsion plant control systems, operating automatic combustion control and other special low pressure air application. The condenser-filter dehydrator shall be designed for both continuous and intermittent operation. The word "dehydrator" will be used to denote the entire complex of equipment throughout this specification.
