Overview
Title:  Interoperability Standard for the Data Control Waveform
Scope:  This MIL-STD is mandatory within the Department of Defense (DoD) and shall be invoked by specifications for all future equipment that incorporate data control functions required to operate over 5- and 25-kHz UHF SATCOM channels. Existing equipment undergoing major modification, and equipment under development, will be modified to conform to this MIL-STD if all of the following apply: (1) they will be used for joint operations; (2) they will be required to transfer error-free data; and (3) they will operate over 5- and 25-kHz UHF SATCOM channels.
