Title:

INTEROPERABILITY OF AIRCRAFT UHF MULTI-FREQUENCY TRANSCEIVER INSTALLATION AND COMPATIBLE GROUND TRANSMITTERS AND RECEIVERS
Scope:
The intention of this agreement is to achieve UHF interoperability. In order to enable participants more readily to be able to agree to the basic parameters necessary for interoperability, no attempt is made in this document to specify comprehensive UHF equipment design standards. However, it is envisaged that the existence of this agreement will enhance future possibilities for the eventual realization of full equipment standardization and module/component interchangeability.
