Overview

Title:  Control Assembly, M163A2 (SP): 9361150 (No S/S Document) Scope:  This specification covers the control assembly used on Gun, Anti-Aircraft, Artillery, Self-Propelled 20MM, M163A2. The control assembly shall consist of a control panel and an elevation control subassembly. The control panel shall contain the controls and indicators required to operate the M163A2 weapon system. The control panel shall allow for the entry and display of ballistics and system fault information after static and dynamic checkout. The elevation control subassembly shall control the azimuth and elevation positioning of the gun and firing of the gun. Circuits in the control assembly shall be designed to enable target range and speed information to be set in manually by the gunner or automatically by the radar (see 6.1).
