Overview

Title:  Truck, Fire Fighting, Water Tanker, 4,000-Gallon Capacity Scope:  This commercial item description (CID) covers a commercial water tanker truck. The tanker has a 6x4 chassis with a diesel engine and an automatic transmission; a two person cab with two doors; a 4,000-gallon water tank; a 1,250-gallon per minute (gpm) fire pump; equipment compartments; and hose. The water tanker truck is intended to store and transport water over paved roads, gravel roads, or unimproved surfaces, and draft, pump, and transfer water in support of brush, structural, and aircraft firefighting vehicles.
