Overview
Title:  Valves, Butterfly, Rubber-Seated,, American Water Works Association Standard for
Scope:  This standard covers cast-iron and ductile-iron body, rubber-seated, tight-closure butterfly valves, 3-72 in. in size, with various body types and body ends for maximum shutoff pressures and operating torques, as indicated in Table 1, and for fresh water having a pH greater than 6 and temperatures generally less than 125 degree F (52 deg C).
