Overview
Title:  Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP)
Scope:  Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) is the engineering data used in the initial provisioning of support resources. This technical data provides definitive identification of dimensional, materiel, mechanical, electrical, or other characteristics adequate for provisioning of the support items of the end item(s) on contract. EDFP consists of data needed to indicate the physical characteristics, location, and function of the item. EDFP may also include government or industry specifications or standards, engineering drawings, production or commercial drawings and associated lists, commercial catalogs, and sketches or photographs with descriptive characteristics.
